Find the areas and perimeter of all the three given figures. Each small square in the grid is 1 sq. unit

Each figure covers 5 small squares.
So, Area of all the three figures = 5 × 1 sq. unit = 5 sq. units


The perimeter of the figure 1 = 4 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 3 + 1 = 12 units

The perimeter of the figure 2 = 2 + 2 + 3 + 1 + 1 + 1
= 10 units

The perimeter of the figure 3 = 2 + 3 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1
= 12 units

So we can say that the perimeter of all the three figures is not same.
