We know that the circumference C and area A of a circle of radius r are given by,

Circumference =2πr and
Area of circle =πr2

Here, r=8.4cm.

C = circumference =2πr =2×227×8.4=52.8cm

A = Area = πr2 = 227×8.4×8.4cm2=221.76cm2
