The image of a point $P(x,y)$ under the reflection in $X-axis$ is$P\text{'}(x,-y)$,

where only the sign of ordinate $\left(y\right)$changes and the sign of abscissa $\left(x\right)$remains the same.

Hence, the reflection of the point $(0,-1)$ in the $X-axis$ will be the point $(0,-(-1\left)\right)=(0,1)$.
