We know that the coordinates oof the centroid of a triangle whose vertices are

$(x_1,y_1)$,$(x_2,y_2)$ and $(x_3,y_3)$ are

$\frac{x_1+x_2+x_3}{3},\frac{y_1+y_2+y_3}{3}$

So, the coordinates of the centroid of a triangle whose vertices are (0, 6),(8, 12) and (8, 0) are

$(\frac{0+8+8}{3},\frac{6+12+0}{3})$

$\Rightarrow (\frac{16}{3},6)$
