To calculate the cost of polishing the table top we first need to calculate the area of the table top

diameter $= 1.6$ m , Radius $= 0.8$ m

Area of Circular table top = $π r^{2}$

$\Rightarrow 3.14 \times {0.8}^{2} = 2.0096 m^{2}$

Total cost of polishing table $=$ Rs $15 \times 2.0096 = R s 30.144$
