The correct option is B 0.5 A
Suppose the currents in the loops are as shown in the figure.


Applying KVL in loop 1 in clockwise direction starting from negative terminal of 4.5 V battery.

+4.53I16(I1I2)=0

9I16I2=4.5 ...(1)

Similarly, for loop 2,

10I23+6(I1I2)=0

6I116I2=3 ...(2)

On solving equations (1) and (2), we get,

I1=0.5 A and I2=0 A

Therefore, the current through the 6 Ω resistor is I1I2=0.50=0.5 A

Hence, option (B) is the correct answer.
