According to Kirchoff’s junction law, the total current going into a junction is equal to the total current coming out of the junction.
Taking current entering the junction as positive and
Current leaving the junction as negative.
$I_{1} + I_{2} + I_{3} + I_{4} - I_{5} - I_{6} = 0$
Substituting the value from the figure.
$5 + 2 + 5 + 2 - I_{5} - 8 = 0$
$14 - I_{5} - 8 = 0$
$6 - I_{5} = 0$
$\Rightarrow$ $I_{5} = 6 A$
