r=2.1 cm

We know that the curved surface area of the hollow hemisphere
=2πR2

So,
=2π(4.3)2

=36.98π cm2

We know that the total surface area of the hollow hemisphere
=2πR2+2πr2+π(R2r2)

So,
=2π(4.3)2+2π(2.1)2+π((4.3)2(2.1)2)

=36.98π+8.82π+π((4.3)2(2.1)2)

=36.98π+8.82π+14.08π

=59.88πcm2
