We know that the degree is the term with the greatest exponent and,
To find the degree of a monomial with more than one variable for the same term, just add the exponents for each variable to get the degree.

The given algebraic expression 2y2z+10yz has two terms. The first one is 2y2z and the second term is 10yz.

2y2z has degree 3 (y has an exponent of 2, z has 1, and 2+1=3)

10yz has degree 2 (y has an exponent of 1, z also has 1, and 1+1=2)
