The correct options are
A 49
B -49
$5 m^{3} - 4 m = 5 (- 2)^{3} - 4 (- 2)$

$= 5 \times (- 8) + 8$

$= - 40 + 8 = - 32$

$2 m^{2} + 9 = 2 (- 2)^{2} + 9$

$= 2 \times 4 + 9 = 8 + 9 = 17$

$∴ d i f f e r e n c e = - 32 - 17 = - 49$
or
$17 - (- 32) = 49$
