Given equation is 3x2 – 5x + 2 = 0.
For the standard form of quadratic equation ax2 + bx + c = 0,
discriminant is given by "b24ac".
Here, a=3,b=5 and c=2
Discriminant, (D)=b24ac =(5)2(4×3×2) =1

Since, discriminant > 0, the roots are real and distinct.
