Distance between two given points $(x_1,y_1)and(x_2,y_2)$ = $\sqrt{(x_1-x_2{)}^2+(y_1-y_2{)}^2}$

(i) Distance = $\sqrt{(3-(-2){)}^2+(4-1{)}^2}$ = $\sqrt{25+9}$=$\sqrt{34}$

(ii) Distance= $\sqrt{(-1-5{)}^2+(0-3{)}^2}$=$\sqrt{36+9}$=$\sqrt{45}$
