Find the distance covered by a car traveling at a constant speed of 60 m/s in 10 s.

Open in App
Solution

Step 1: Given

Speed=60m/stime=10s

Step 2: Calculations

The formula for speed is given as,

Speed=DistanceTime

To calculate distance we rewrite the formula as,

Distance=speed×time

On putting all the values we have,

Distance=speed×timeDistance=60m/s×10s=600m

So, the total distance travelled is 600m.
