The correct option is C 80 cm
For curved surface:

μ1=1; μ2=1.5

u=40 cm; R=10 cm

Using formula

μ2vμ1u=μ2μ1R

1.5v140=1.5110

1.5v+140=120

v=60 cm

For concave mirror:

For the same size of the image as that of object need to be placed at the center of curvature of concave mirror.

Therefore, sum of image distance v and radius of curvature R of the concave mirror must be equal to d.

d=v+R

d=60+20=80 cm

Hence, option (c) is correct.
