Find the distance traveled by raju if he takes 4 rounds of a hexagonal shaped park if side 100m.

Solution

If one side of the hexagon is 'a' then the perimeter of hexagon is
a+a+a+a+a+a=6a
distance travelled when raju take one round = perimeter = 6a = 6×100 = 600m.
Distance travelled by raju if he take 4 round = 4× distance travelled for one round
= 4×600 = 2400m.
