Find the equation of line passing through (1,2) and parallel to 3x+5y+7=0

The equation of line parallel to $3 x + 5 y + 7 = 0$ is $3 x + 5 y + k = 0$
The required line passes through $(1, 2)$
So $3 (1) + 5 (2) + k = 0 3 + 10 + k = 0 13 + k = 0 k = - 13$
So the required line is $3 x + 5 y - 13 = 0$
