2x + 22y =7


The equation of tangent to any second degree curve ax2 + 2hxy + by2 +2gx + 2fy + c= 0 is T = 0.

T is obtained by replacing x by x+x12 y by y+y12,x2 by xx1,y2 by yy, and xy by xy1+yx12.

and keeping the constant as it is we will apply the same for the given equation and point.

Equation of tangent is

2x 22y + 7 = 0 or

2x +22y = 7
