The given equation of line is $3 x + 2 y = 8$
slope = $\frac{- 3}{2}$
Let the required line be $y = l n x + c$
$y = - \frac{3}{2} x + c$ ....(i)
Given that (i) passes through $(0, 1)$
$1 = o (\frac{- 3}{2}) + c \to c = 1$
$y = \frac{- 3}{2} x + c$
$y = \frac{- 3 x}{2} + 1$
$3 x + 2 y = 0$
