equation of the line is,

$y=mx+c$

$\Rightarrow y=\frac{1}{2}x+c$ _______ (1)

since the line passes through (-4,3)

$3=\frac{1}{2}(-4)+c$

$\Rightarrow 3=-2+c$

$\Rightarrow c=5$

$\therefore$ equation of the line passing through (-4,3) with slope $\frac{1}{2}$ is given as

$y=\frac{1}{2}x+5$

$\Rightarrow 2y=x+10$
