We know that equation of line passing through point (x0,y0) with slope m is y−y0=m(x−x0)
Given,
Slope (m)=12 and point (x0,y0)=(−4,3) ∴ The equation of the line is (y−3)=12(x−(−4)) ⇒(y−3)=12(x+4) ⇒2(y−3)=x+4 ⇒2y−6=x+4 ⇒2y−x−6−4=0 ⇒2y−x−10=0 ⇒x−2y+10=0
Hence, the required equation is x−2y+10=0.
