Given line is xayb=1
Slope is m=ba
Then perpendicular slope is m1=ab
Then the equation of the line with this slope is y=abx+c.......(1)
As (a,0) passes through the above line (Given line meets at xaxis i.e., put y=0)
Then, 0=ab×a+c
c=a2b
Therefore required line is by+ax=a2 (Substitute c in (1) and simplify)
