The correct option is C y+2=0,x+5=0
Straight line parallel to co-ordinate are of the form either x=c and y=d where c and d are some constant variable..Given that it passes through point (-5,-2).
let equation of line parallel to x-axis be y=d and given that it passes through point (-5,-2).So let us substitute value of y ,then we get -2=d
So our equation of first line become y=-(2)i.e y+2=0.
Similarly line parallel to y-axis be x=c.This line again passes through (-5,-2).So substituting value of x we get -5=c.So equation bexomes x=(-5)i.e x+5=0
