The correct option is C 2.5 μF
From the given figure we can see C2 and C3 are in series and their equivalent capacitance is parallel to C4 .

Equivalent capacitance of C2 and C3,

C23=C2C3C2+C3=6×36+3=189=2 μF

Now, C23 and C4 are in parallel, so their effective capacitance C′′ as

C′′=2+3=5 μF


Now, C1 and C′′ are in series

Ceq=C1C′′C1+C′′=5×55+5=2.5 μF

Hence, option (c) is the correct answer.
