As we can see, in the given circuit a symmetric element is repeating infinite times i.e., between RS

Hence, let the equivalent capacitance across RS i.e., CRS=C and similarly capacitance across PQ i.e., CPQ=C

The given circuit can be redrawn as follows,





Equivalent resistance of the given circuit is,

CPQ=C=8+6CC+6

C28C48=0

(C12)(C+4)=0

C=12 or4

Capacitance cannot be negative.
