(C3H8) propane when reacts with Br2, it follows free radical mechanism to form secondary free radical which gives 2-bromopropane as a product.
When 2-bromopropane reacts with Na/ether. it undergoes Wurtz synthesis to form 2,3-dimethylbutane as a product.
