Arithmetic progression of nth term-
an=a1+(n1)d
where an=nth term
a1= first term
n= number of term
d= difference between terms
As given 9th term is 238, then first term is
a9=a1+(91)14
238=a1+8×14
238=a1+112
a1=238112
