Applying equilibrium condition for wedge in horizontal direction:

Block's acceleration to inclined plane =0, equating forces acting on block (perpendicular to the inclined plane)

Putting (ii) in (i)

kx=mgcos37.cos53

kx=5×10×0.8×0.6
kx=24 N
Hence spring force =kx=24 N
