The correct option is B

To find the H.C.F. of the expressions x2 – 6x + 5 and x2 – 8x + 15 by factorization we get,

x2 – 6x + 5 = x2 – 5x - x + 5 = (x - 5)(x - 1)

And, x2 – 8x + 15 = x2 – 5x - 3x + 15 = (x - 5)(x - 3)

The common term in both factorization is x - 5, so the HCF is x-5.
