Regarding the context, all of the above statements are true. The first two are the different methods of inhibition of the enzyme's activity. Coming to the third point, the slightest change in the active site's 3D structure or conformation, can bring about cessation in the activity of the enzyme. In fact it is also how products or other factors stop the enzyme, by binding to its active site and modifying its structure so that the substrate no longer fits the enzyme. Lastly, increase in reaction temperature as small as 1 or 2 degrees may increase activity by 10 to 20% . This is also complicated by the fact that many enzymes are adversely affected by high temperatures because most animal enzymes rapidly denature at temperatures above 40C .
