We first arrange the terms of the given data in ascending order as follows:

1,3,4,8,10,11,14,22,27,30,32
No of terms n = 11, which is an odd number.
$∴$ Lower quartile $(Q_{1}) = \frac{(n + 1)^{t h}}{4} = t e r m = \frac{11 + 1}{4} = 3^{r d} t e r m = 4$
Upper quartile $(Q_{3}) = \frac{3 (n + 1)}{4})^{t h} t e r m = 9^{t h} t e r m = 27$
