Find the joint equation of the following pair of lines passing through $(2,3)$ and parallel to the co-ordinate axes.

Let first line be parallel to $x-$axis

$\therefore$ Its equation is $y=3$ $\Rightarrow$ $y-3=0$

Second line is parallel to $y-$axis

$\therefore$ Its equation is $x=2$ $\Rightarrow$ $x-2=0$

$\therefore$ Combined equation is given by

$(x-2)(y-3)=0$

$\Rightarrow xy-3x-2y+6=0$
