Question

Find the L.S.A, T.S.A and volume of the cuboids having the length, breadth and height respectively as
(i) 5 cm, 2 cm , 11cm
(ii) 15 dm, 10 dm, 8 dm
(iii) 2 m, 3 m, 7 m
(iv) 20 m, 12 m, 8 m

i)LSA of cuboid=2h(l+b)=2×11(5+2)=154cm2
TSA of cuboid=2(lb+bh+hl)=2(5×2+2×11)=174cm2
Volume of cuboid=lbh=5×2×11=110cm2
ii)LSA of cuboid=2h(l+b)=2×8(15+10)=400dm2
TSA of cuboid=2(lb+bh+hl)=2(15×10+10×8+8×15)=700dm2
Volume of cuboid=lbh=15×10×8=1200dm2
iii)LSA of cuboid=2h(l+b)=2×7(2+3)=70m2
TSA of cuboid=2(lb+bh+hl)=2(2×3+3×7+7×2)=82m2
Volume of cuboid=lbh=2×3×7=42m2
iv)LSA of cuboid=2h(l+b)=2×8(20+12)=512cm2
TSA of cuboid=2(lb+bh+hl)=2(20×12+12×8+8×20)=992m2
Volume of cuboid=lbh=20×12×8=1920m2
