Find the mean of the following set of numbers: $6, 9, 11, 12$ and $7$

By definition, we know
Mean $= \sum x / n$
Here, $n = 5$
Thus,
Mean $= (6 + 9 + 11 + 12 + 7) / 5 = 45 / 5 = 9$
