Open in App
Solution

Complementary Angles :

If the sum of two angles is 90⁰, then those two angles are called as complementary angles.

Solution:

Let "x" be the measure of a complementary angle required.

Since "x" and 37°42'34" are complementary angles, we have

x + 37°42'34"= 90°

x = 90° - 37°42'34"
=89°59'60" - 37°42'34"

x = 52°17"26"

Hence , the measure of the complementary angle is 52°17'26".
