Find the median of the given set of data:
Arranging in ascending order we get that, $6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17$ .
The middle value from the given set of data when arranged in ascending or descending manner is considered to be median. In case of odd number of observations, the median is the $(\frac{n + 1}{2}) t h$ term.
Here, the median is $(\frac{9 + 1}{2}) t h = 5 t h$ term $= 11$
So, the median of the given set of data is $11$ .
