If n is even,
Median = $\frac{{\left(\frac{n}{2}\right)}^{th}\text{term}+{(\frac{n}{2}+1)}^{th}\text{term}}{2}$
$\therefore$ Median $=\frac{{\left(\frac{8}{2}\right)}^{th}+{(\frac{8}{2}+1)}^{th}}{2}=\frac{4^{th}\text{term}+5^{th}\text{term}}{2}=\frac{8+10}{2}=9$
