$\frac{N}{2} = \frac{56}{2} = 28$

Median $= l_{1} + \frac{\frac{N}{2} - c . f}{f} \times i$

$= 30 + \frac{28 - 20}{25} \times 30$

$= 30 + \frac{8}{25} \times 30$

$= 30 + \frac{240}{25} = 39.6$
