Let's try to find what exactly is happening in the series.
If we observe the first two numbers i.e, 100 and 100 , we can say that 100 is 100 % of 100 or
100 ×100100 = 100,
Going with the same logic , 90% of 100 is 90 or
100 ×90100 = 90,
Applying the same logic, 80% of 90 is 72 or
90 ×80100 = 72,
So , every number is some percent of the previous number and the perecentage is decreased by 10% every time.
Applying the same logic , we get the other two numbers
72 ×70100 = 50.4,
50.4 ×60100 = 30.24

So the missing number is 50.4.
