Let the common difference for this AP be d, and the nth term be an.

We know that the second term in this AP is 3, and the fourth term is -5.

We also know that a3=a2+d and a2=a1+d

a1=a2d

Given, a2=3 and a4=5

a4=a3+d=a2+d+d=a2+2d

3+2d=5
2d=8
d=4

The first missing term is equal to a2d=3d
=3(4)=7

The second missing term is equal to a2+d=3+d
=3+(4)=1
