Given AP is 2,7,12,....97.

First term, a=2

Common difference, d=72=127=5

nth term ,an=97

Using formula an=a+(n1)d to find nth term of arithmetic progression, we get

an=a+(n1)d

97=2+(n1)5

95=5n5

100=5n

n=1005=20

Therefore, there are 20 terms in the given arithmetic progression.
