Solution

Mushroom

  • Mushrooms are saprophytes as they feed on dead and decaying matter.
  • Peepal is a tree, with heights ranging up to many meters. It has a brown, thick, and very hard stem, branches are seen in the upper part of plants.
  • Banyan and wheat are angiosperms, plants with seeds inside the fruits.
  • They possess flowers instead of cones. Their seeds contain seed leaves inside which they store food. These are called cotyledons. These are divided into two groups. Wheat comes under monocotyledons as they have a single cotyledon. Banyan comes under dicotyledon as they have two cotyledons.
