Find the perimeter of a rectangle in which:
length = $8 m 5 d m$ and breadth $= 6 m 8 d m$

length of rectangle = 8m5dm =80+5=85dm.
and breadth of rectangle =6m8dm=60+8=68dm
perimeter of rectangle =2(85+68)
=2(153)=306dm
$∴$ perimeter of rectangle is 30 m 6 dm.
