We have:

The perimeter of the rectangle is given by $= 2 (L e n g t h + B r e a d t h)$
$= 2 (10 m + 8 m)$
$= 2 (3.6 m + 2.4 m)$
$= 2 (6 m)$
$= 12 m$
Therefore, the perimeter of the given rectangle is 12 m.
