Given, $l=b+7$

$(b+7)\times b=228$
$b^2+7b=228$
$b^2+7b-228=0$
$(b+19)(b-12b)=0$
$=>b=-19$ or $12$ cm
As breadth is a positive value, $b=12m$
So, $l=12+7=19m$.
Perimeter of the rectangle $=2(l+b)=2(19+12)=62m$
