Finding the perimeter of the rectangle

We know that, perimeter of the rectangle $=2(\text{l+b)}$, where $\text{l=length , b= breadth}$

Since, $1\text{m=100 cm}$.

Thus, length $=150\text{cm ,}$ breadth $=1\text{m=100 cm}$

Now.

Perimeter of the rectangle $=2(150+100)$

$$\begin{gathered} =2\left(250\right) \\ =500\text{cm} \end{gathered}$$

Hence, perimeter of the rectangle is $500\text{cm}$ .
