Hence , perimeter of square of side is $4aunit.$

Step 2 : Finding the perimeter of square of side $2a$ unit :

Perimeter of square $=4\times side$

$$\begin{gathered} =4\times 2a \\ =8aunit \end{gathered}$$

Hence , perimeter of square of side is $8aunit.$

Hence , if side of square is doubled then perimeter is also doubled.
