Find the point which divides the line segment joining the point $(3,5)$ and $(8,10)$ internally in the ratio $2:3$

Now, using section formula ,

$a=\frac{(2\times 8)+(3\times 3)}{2+3}=5$

$b=\frac{(2\times 10)+(3\times 5)}{2+3}=7$

So, the point is $P(5,7)$
