Distribution of potential at the junctions are shown below.

Thus, at the steady state condition, current in the circuit is,

I=VR=2412=2 A

Now, the potential difference across the 4 Ω resistor is,

24Vy=IR=2×4

Using KCL at junction x,

4(Vx4)+8(Vx24)=0
