Solution

The correct option is A 1562.40
Let P be required value.
We know the formula,
A=P(1+rn)n.t
Given, A= Rs. 2000, r=10%, n=4 and t= 212 years
Therefore, 2000=P(1+0.14)4×2.5
2000=P×1.02510
2000=P×1.280085
P=20001.280085
P= Rs. 1562.40
