we can write this $(6 x - y + z) (6 x - y + z)$ as $(6 x - y + z)^{2}$
we can apply the formula $(a + b + c)^{2} = a^{2} + b^{2} + C^{2} + 2 a b + 2 b c + 2 c a$
$= (6 x)^{2} + (y)^{2} + (z)^{2} + 2 \times 6 x \times (- y) + 2 \times 6 x \times z + 2 \times (- y) \times z$
$= 36 x^{2} + y^{2} + z^{2} - 12 x y + 12 x z - 2 y z$
